Converting decimal hours to minutes and seconds
0.02 decimal hours are used as an example for the conversion. First, this value is multiplied by 60 to calculate the number of decimal minutes. The result is 1.2 decimal minutes. The number to the left of the decimal point is the integer part, which in this example is 1. This number can be taken unchanged and corresponds to the final result of 1 minute [min]. The number to the right of the decimal point must still be converted into seconds [s] by multiplying it by 60. 0.2 * 60 equals 12 seconds [s]. In total, 0.02 decimal hours correspond to 1 minute [min] and 12 seconds [s].

To convert minutes [min] and seconds [s] to decimal hours, first multiply the value in minutes [min] by 60 and then add the value in seconds [s] to it. The result of this calculation must then be divided by 3,600.
