Converting decimal hours to minutes and seconds

0.02 decimal hours are used as an example for the conversion. First, this value is multiplied by 60 to calculate the number of decimal minutes. The result is 1.2 decimal minutes. In total, 0.02 decimal hours correspond to 1 minute [min] and 12 seconds [s].

Converting minutes and seconds to decimal hours

To convert minutes [min] and seconds [s] to decimal hours, first multiply the value in minutes [min] by 60 and then add the value in seconds [s] to it. The result of this calculation must then be divided by 3,600.
