Converting minutes and seconds to decimal minutes

To convert minutes [min] and seconds [s] to decimal minutes, divide the seconds [s] by 60 and add them to the minutes [min]. As an example, let's take 4 minutes [min] and 36 seconds [s]. Divide the 36 seconds [s] by 60, which gives 0.6. Now add this result to the 4 minutes [min] and you get 4.6 decimal minutes.
