The number to the right of the decimal point must still be converted to minutes [min] by multiplying it by 60. 0.073333° * 60 equals 4.4 minutes [min]. In total, 64 minutes [min] and 24 seconds [s] correspond to 1 hour [h] and 4.4 minutes [min].

Converting hours & minutes to minutes & seconds

To convert hours & minutes to minutes & seconds, a similar procedure is required as in the previous example. In the first step, hours & minutes are converted to decimal minutes. To do this, multiply the value in hours [h] by 60 and add the number of minutes [min]. For example, 1 hour [h] and 4.4 minutes [min] result in (1 hour * 60 + 4.4 minutes) = 64.4 decimal minutes.
