Converting centisecond into minutes and seconds

As an example for the conversion, we will use 7,400 centisecond [cs]. First, this value is divided by (100 * 60) to calculate the number of decimal minutes. The result is 1.2333° decimal minutes. The number to the left of the decimal point is the integer part, which in this example is 1. This number can be taken unchanged and corresponds to the final result of 1 minute [min]. The number to the right of the decimal point must still be converted into seconds [s] by multiplying it by 60. 0.2333° * 60 equals 14 seconds [s]. A total of 7,400 centisecond [cs] thus corresponds to 1 minute [min] and 14 seconds [s].

Converting minutes and seconds into centisecond

To convert minutes [min] and seconds [s] into centisecond [cs] first multiply the value in minutes [min] by 60 and then add the value in seconds [s] to it. The result of this calculation must then be multiplied by 100.
