Converting weeks into days and hours

The conversion of weeks [wk] into days [d] and hours [h] is best explained with an example. 1.15 weeks [wk] are used as the starting point for the calculation example. First, this value is multiplied by 7 to calculate the number of decimal days. The result of this calculation is 8.05 decimal days. The number to the left of the decimal point is the integer part, which in this example is 8. This number can be taken unchanged and corresponds to the final result of 8 days [d]. The number to the right of the decimal point must still be converted into hours [h] by multiplying it by 24. 0.05 * 24 equals 1.2 hours [h]. In total, 1.15 weeks [wk] correspond to 8 days [d] and 1.2 hours [h].

Converting days and hours to weeks

To convert days [d] and hours [h] into weeks [wk], multiply the days [d] by 24 and add them to the hours [h]. The result of this calculation must then be divided by 168.
