Converting months into hours and minutes

The conversion of months [mo] into hours [h] and minutes [min] is best explained with an example. One month [mo] is used as the starting point for the calculation example. First, this value is multiplied by (30.4375 * 24) to calculate the number of decimal hours. The result of this calculation is 730.5 decimal hours. The number to the left of the decimal point is the integer part, which in this example is 730. This number can be taken unchanged and corresponds to the final result of 730 hours [h]. The number to the right of the decimal point must still be converted into minutes [min] by multiplying it by 60. So 0.5 * 60 equals 30 minutes [min]. In total, 1 month [mo] thus corresponds to 730 hours [h] and 30 minutes [min].

Convert hours and minutes to months

To convert hours [h] and minutes [min] to months [mo], multiply the hours [h] by 60 and add them to the minutes [min]. The result of this calculation must then be divided by (1,440 * 30.4375).
